This month’s themes,books

Feb & March we'll be traveling a variety of ways... vehicles, dancing, animal dancing. In April & May we'll add farm themes.

Below I will list the themes (albums), books. For those who have not recieved your book or instrument for the season, those who just joined a class, or if you want to purchase an extra... I will be taking orders.

Below I've listed the books that go with the movement themes (vehicles, dances, & animal movements); the farm books & themes will be listed in April & May.

Although you are always welcome to order any Kindermusik book or instrument from their shop, here are the ones we will be focusing on in class this month & next month....

For infants and babies- Foundations:

We will be using themes/albums Little Red Caboose, Mama Goose/Hickery Dickery Tickle & Bounce, and DoSiDo.

The books are called This Little Train, Hickory Dickory Dock, This Is My Dance

I have 2 extra books that will be fun.. ZoomBuggy (variety of vehicle sounds) & Dew Drops(a different flower on each page)

I also have several shakers including mini rain shakers

For 1-2 year olds- Level1 & MixedagesL1:

We will be using theme/albums Zoom, Around the House with extensions from Away we Go & FiddleDeeDee. For books we have a variety... Giddy Up, My Dog Wags, Butterfly.

I will also use & have 2 books available in both board & heavy paper... Hickory Dickery Dock & Pete & PJ

For instruments we have mini rain shakers and zig zag blocks

For 2-3 year olds- Level2 & Mixed agesL2:

We will be using themes/albums GoGoGo & Pet Parade again with extensions from Away we go & Fiddle DeeDee.

Books in heavy paper... Zain the Train, Flip Flap Suger Snap. I'll also have My Dog Rags & Giddy Up, & This Little Piggy Plays the Fiddle.

For instruments I suggest either handled sandblocks or rhythm sticks.

Ages 3-5, Level3 & mixedageL3:

We will be using theme/albums ... we are finishing up Outside my Window, and starting On the Go, Animals a Dancing with exemptions from Hello Weather.

The books are Rain Song, The Big Race, Animals Dancing.

For instruments, I have several kinds of rhythm sticks to choose from. I also still have tambourines available.

For 4-6 year olds, Level 4 & prep for Level5/Kindermusik Musicians

We will be mixing parts of themes/albums All Keyed Up & Jazz Kitchen before spring break and Dance with Me & Under the Rainbow after spring break.

Books include finishing up with Three Little Kittens, then we'll do Dance of our Own. We also have available Noodles from Scatch & Under the Rainbow for after spring break.

And the instruments available are rhythm sticks or tambourines
