A note from Sally (owner and educator) ....
I have dedicated my life as an artist, musician, and mother to nurturing children and their development. I became a licensed Kindermusik educator in March of 1999 and have taught for over 26 years. I believe my unique back ground and the quality curricula (Kindermusik etc) allows me to be creative and entertaining while structuring a learning environment and process.
My background...In addition to piano, voice, and theater I have studied fine art, computer aided design/engineering, and child development. I have performed professionally in theater, choirs, and solo. While in college I received several awards for my artwork and preformed in multiple choirs & theater productions. Through Kindermusik International (a company with over 40 years of experience), I have studied child development and early education with a focus on music. I am also greatly influenced by my parents who are both scientists. Through my childhood they imbued in me the concepts of logic and structured thought.
On the personal side...After 20 years of moving around with the Air Force my husband and I have decided to settle down here in Cibolo. We are parents of 3 energetic children, who have all enjoyed and benefited from Kindermusik, Art, & Science. I have volunteered in the community with music, in schools, as a coach, a scout leader, and in church. Discovery Meadow Studio is my way of sharing the joy & knowledge I have found in my life with others. I look forward to sharing the joy of Art and Music with your family

My child and I have really enjoyed attending Kindermusik. We also enjoyed the Kindermusik CD's, storybooks and activity books at home-- they're great resources for fun learning experiences. Sally is an excellent teacher. She is very enthusiastic and also very sensitive to the children's different temperaments and needs.
