Over the holidays your children may have been inspired to play with new toys. Maybe you they are inspired by the lights at night from twinkle to stars to the moon. Or perhaps your preschooler saw their first ballet? In January we’ll help them use their imaginations based on some common inspirations from last month… the Nutcracker, opening boxes with new toys, the starry night.
February inspirations: winter weather, animals, and activities. (Olympics & the Rodeo too)
March inspirations: Sun & rain will help the meadow bloom with new life. (Hopefully we’ll have some bluebonnets to dance in the studio meadow).
April to May inspirations: planting food & farm animals.

After class take home a flier & sometimes supplies for AtHome play ideas, activities, crafts, parenting hacks, or reminders from class.
Here’s a video on YouTube with the toy scene from the Nutcracker (there are a lot of great videos of the nutcracker online; this one is from the Boston Ballet a few years ago)…
Check out the Kindermusik app or your account on the website to reread the class book & relisten to class music
Parents & caregivers can also get more ideas on how to encourage play at home through the video activity tutorials.
For over 3 yos…. If you’d want to encourage pretend play at home with the themes from class, checkout one of our playroom paper doll playsets

As the new term starts you’ll have an opportunity to pick one physical instrument & one physical book to take & keep.
Signup sheets will be posted in class.
(Pictures to come)
