KindermusikbySally has special seasonal activities all year round!! When weather allows we have free exploration available in the studio outside spaces/facilities (in addition to our inside activities). In spring & fall when weather allows, we actually incorporate outside activities into the class time when we can. Coming up this fall we’ll have our annual mini bonfire, eyes in the forest seek & find, sensory walks & crafts. In spring we have special time with bluebonnets (& other flowers that bloom), meadow, swings, outside crafts & more …

April 13 In Cibolo, we will be going outside as weather allows. FYI there are many beautiful bits of nature at the Cibolo studio but the bluebonnets have mostly gone to seed this week.

Friday April 10th, there's one last patch of bluebonnets and it will be available for exploration & pictures at the end of classes (10am & 11:30am ) as weather allows. Although the bluebonnets are going to seed and flowers will likely be gone by this weekend, there are other wild flora & fauna to explore in our meadow.

For clarification, throughout April we will be going outside for end of class activities. April 7 Spring & Meadow classes start today!! Meadow exploration at the end of class continues through April. April 1-3 2026 Free Exploration events & open house

All registered families for Winter-Spring continue through to end of May (some may have makeups in June or can get a credit depending on situation, contact us for more information). Studio notes on bluebonnets, outside area & activities, and weather below…

We start each class inside the studio with our usual activities. At some point (appropriate to the class needs), we’ll put on shoes and transition to the outside to the courtyard & meadow. Outside activities depend on the age range & weather. As much as half the class could be outside. This of course depends on the weather, outside conditions, & age range SO I always have inside activities available if we can't go outside (examples it's raining or too wet).

Boots & hats… Be aware of what you want to wear depending on the conditions (especially shoes) … the meadow has wild flowers, grasses, trees/sticks, dirt, bugs, birds, (most other animals stay away but still possible); it’s completely fenced but it’s a big area; towels (& chairs), blankets, wipes, even bug & sun protection available in my supplies; activites may includes looking/listening, ball/scarves/parachute, drums, BUBBLES, crafts appropriate for different ages; pictures are welcome but please don’t post other people’s children unless you’ve discussed with them. Although we do curate/police the area, for baby & family classes caregivers are responsible for watching over their own children for safety.

Some last notes: if it’s raining or too muddy/wet we’ll stay inside. If the meadow is too muddy in the meadow but dry in the courtyard, we’ll go to the courtyard & the front yard bluebonnet patch if possible. During our outside exploration classes, if you have rain/outside boots & hats suggested (not at all mandatory, just your choice depending on need).

All enrolled families have unlimited extras & makeups, so if you want to come to a class you are not enrolled in just contact Sally for availability & rsvp.

As always contact Sally anytime by email sally@discoverymeadowstudio.com or text 210-373-5406. See you soon for extra fun!!
