We all need someone to listen.

Don’t forget our children are ‘mini me’s. So take time to listen. Because we all need to practice active listening... that is actually attending, connecting with what is said/played/made/around. So why not take a moment to massage those ears, activate the connection between the ears and the brain, then take a moment to think about what you’re hearing. Our children will follow our lead. It’s an important skill not just for musicians but for all learning and like so much development of that skill starts young and continues through out life.

Attending can be enhanced with sign language. Not everyone’s brain is focused on hearing with ears, so need or do better with the addition of sight or movement.

And some need to learn how to managing the levels of stimulus.
